Tatnam Organic Patch (TOP) is an urban organic community garden and permaculture site in Poole, Dorset.
I have been a member of TOP for over ten years and have been photographing the garden space, it's wildlife and people throughout the seasons.
Formerly a wasteland, the site was developed in 1998 by volunteers and now consists of vegetable, fruit and wildlife gardens.
TOP promotes biodiversity, conserves natural habitats, is an educational facility, a community asset and an oasis of refuge and calm.
In 2017 I led an art, photography and gardening workshop - project 'Groundwork' - together with artists Bevis Fenner and Noriko Suzuki-Bosco on site.
